Our new Headteacher will be someone who can:

  • Sustain high quality expert teaching to ensure all pupils achieve their potential.
  • Offer clear vision, confidently leading transformation initiatives with resilience and adaptability. Foster a culture of reflective practice empowering staff, and inspiring pupils where they feel supported to experiment, refine and grow whilst shaping a thriving future for the school
  • Encourage pupil voice and leadership, giving children ownership of school initiatives.
  • Champion SEND provision and diversity, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.
  • Provide mentoring and professional opportunities empowering all staff to flourish whilst nurturing those who aspire to lead.
  • Prioritise and allocate financial resources appropriately, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and probity in the use of public funds.
  • Sustain professional working relationships, creating an enabling environment for effective governance.
  • Ensure high standards of pupil behaviour and courteous conduct in line with the school’s values.
  • Build on existing home school partnerships, further empowering parents, carers and guardians as co-educators.
  • Foster a sense of belonging where pupils, staff and families feel part of our community.
  • Promote the school’s Healthy Schools Beacon status, modelling good practice for others.
  • Strengthen ties with local organisations and partners such as cultural centres to enrich learning.
  • Integrate digital literacy and creative technologies in age-appropriate ways.
