Winhills Primary Academy is a popular primary school located in a St. Neots Cambridgeshire. The school offers complete wraparound care and a fully integrated nursery within the grounds for pupils aged 3-11. We are seeking to appoint a new Headteacher who shares our ethos, embraces our vision, and possesses the enthusiasm and drive to inspire our motivated team of staff whilst bringing their own forward-thinking vision and innovative ideas that could further enhance children’s achievement and experience at our school.

This Headteacher vacancy presents the right individual with a significant opportunity to make their mark. The previous Headteacher changed career direction and moved into a Trust level role so we are looking to recruit a person who:

  • can nurture, challenge and encourage staff, recognising and utilising the strengths within the team, facilitating collaborative working, high quality CPD
  • recognises the importance of experiential learning opportunities to inspire pupils’ and enrich their educational experience
  • has strong interpersonal skills and communicates effectively both inside and outside the school
  • recognises the school’s position within the wider community and is able to communicate our vision to it and all stakeholders
  • can work actively with the Trust on Trust level activities to build on and develop the Trust as well as the school

The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust

There are 14 primary schools within the Trust and 1 senior school. There is a pro-active partnership between the schools, sharing best practice and innovative learning experiences to enable pupils to achieve their very best outcomes.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Nursery Manager to join us at Winhills Primary Academy.
Job purpose:

• To manage the day to day running of the Nursery to include co-ordinating the provision of a caring, safe, secure and stimulating environment, meeting the minimum Ofsted requirements.

• To plan a range of activities based on an observation and assessment cycle for children aged 2 – 4+ years.

• Managing a staff team, working under the direction of the EYFS Leader and the Headteacher to ensure policies and procedures are implemented at all times.

• To fulfil legal and statutory requirements
