  • View all Full timejobs - 0830-1630 Monday to Thursday and Friday 0830 to 1600 (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day) Full time/maternity cover, 38 weeks plus 1 additional week, a total of 39 weeks per year

What skills and experience we're looking for

  • To manage and implement medical intervention systems across Lighthouse School
  • To be the first point of contact for medical support and first aid in school
  • Coach, train and support school staff in medical and care intervention strategies
  • Work alongside the SENDCo to ensure that students’ medical needs are met, contributing to Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) reviews, and attending meetings as appropriate

  • Support the development and achievement of the school’s vision to secure success and improvement

  • Treat students with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to your professional position
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school

Lighthouse School in Leeds is a completely unique secondary school. In fact, we are the first of our kind in the country – a specialist free school.
