Inspire the next generation of healthy living at Meridian High School - we're seeking a passionate and dedicated Health & Nutrition/Food Technology Teacher to join us on a permanent basis from September.

Your Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and inspiring Health & Nutrition / Food Technology Teacher to join Meridian High School on a permanent basis from September. You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and enriching lessons to students in Years 7 to 11, helping them develop essential life skills and a strong understanding of healthy living. As part of a supportive faculty, you’ll play a key role in driving student progress, fostering positive attitudes towards learning, and contributing to a culture of high standards and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status with honours degree
  • Proven experience teaching Health & Nutrition/Food Technology at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong commitment to raising achievement for students of all abilities
  • Confident using data and ICT to inform teaching, planning, and student progress
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and well-organised with a positive and enthusiastic outlook
  • Passionate about continuous professional development and reflective practice
  • Strong communication skills and ability to inspire respect and confidence
  • Committed to safeguarding and maintaining appropriate boundaries with students
  • Values aligned with GLF Schools' core ethos and mission
