What skills and experience we're looking for

About Us

Cathedral Schools Trust (CST) is a family of schools committed to inspiring learning both in and beyond the classroom. With a strong focus on music and the creative arts, we support every student and staff member in reaching their full potential. If you’re looking for a Trust that values creativity, growth, and meaningful learning, CST could be the perfect place for you.

We invite you to join our dynamic Estates department, a vital part of the CST Central team. Based at St Katherine’s School, Pill, you’ll work across all of the schools within our Trust, making a real impact in diverse environments. With a mix of on-site and hybrid working, you'll support our Head of Estates and Facilities in overseeing Health & Safety, Facilities and the Estate, with each day bringing new and exciting challenges. You will be working with each of our schools’ Caretaker or Site Manager, along with Administrators or their Business Manager.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an effective and highly organised Health, Safety and Compliance Manager to help to ensure that our schools provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for children, staff and visitors.

If you join us, this role will see you assisting in the management of compliance in our Estates functions and wider work on Health and Safety, managing a variety of projects across our schools and building strong, supportive relationships with all colleagues across the Trust.

About You

You have a precise eye for detail and will have developed excellent verbal and written communication skills through your career or personal experience. You will be able to bring to us a flair for analytical thinking and the ability to work independently, making informed decisions. You will have experience of Health & Safety in the education sector or a similar environment.
