Heritage Language Tutor - Russian job summary

Leeds City Academy values the skills of all bilingual students and seeks to support those students who are able to undertake a Heritage Language GCSE by providing tuition to enable students to maximise their potential.

• Tutors will work term time only, 1 hour per week or fortnightly (depending on the need of the students in their class) 15:00 to 16:00.

• As a tutor you will be working closely with secondary school students in small groups.

• Tutors must be fluent in the appropriate language and be competent in English.

• The suitable candidate will be employed on a casual basis.

• Leeds City Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all tutors paid Safeguarding (child protection) training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

• Candidates must be able to provide face to face lessons at Leeds City Academy, LS6 2LG between 15:00 and 16:00
