Higer Level Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and forward-thinking team at Sir Thomas Fremantle School. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who is committed to helping students thrive - academically, socially and emotionally.
As a HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and the SEND team to support students both in and out of the classroom. You will lead tailored interventions, contribute to planning and assessment, and help deliver a broad and balanced curriculum. Your input will have a direct impact on the progress and confidence of our students, including those with additional needs.
You will also play a vital role in promoting a positive learning environment, supporting pupil wellbeing, and helping pupils access the full curriculum. Our teaching support team is trusted, valued and encouraged to grow professionally through continued training and collaboration.
Sir Thomas Fremantle is set in North Buckinghamshire for 11-16 year olds serving the local community. The school is in easy reach of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury. We benefit from great facilities – the school building was only opened in 2017.
We are driven to ensure all our students have an incredible education that inspires and prepares them for the next step in their journey. With 650 students we are able to really get to know each of them and our sense of community is a real strength of our school.
