The Discovery Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Higher Level Learning and Teaching Assistant to join our team of highly motivated professionals who are working collaboratively to raise standards and expectations at all levels throughout Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a fantastic opportunity for inspiring and aspirational individuals to join a creative, supportive faculty.

Experience of SEMH, especially within a school or academy setting is essential.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate patience and empathy in order to deal appropriately with sensitive or difficult situations with parents/carers.

Discovery Academy’s students leave as aspiring, motivated and confident young adults.
