Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint a committed and flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference to children’s learning, wellbeing and behaviour, whilst also supporting staff and wider school provision.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality class cover, support pupils with pastoral and behavioural needs, and contribute to creating a calm, consistent and purposeful learning environment across the school. The role will also contribute to the smooth running of the school by enabling staff to access CPD, collaborative planning opportunities and wider school priorities.

We are looking for someone who builds positive relationships, remains calm under pressure, and is committed to high expectations for all pupils. In return, we can offer a supportive team, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a real impact across the school community.
