Grade E - £18,272 - £19,540 (Actual Salary)
Grade E - £24,294 - £25,979 (Full time equivalent)
A Grade F - £19,961 role may be considered depending on experience
32.5 hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week (39 Weeks)

Clarion Corvus Trust is seeking to appoint Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work at Hobart High School, Loddon to provide support to a range of students within subject areas. Hobart caters for many students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and has a committed SEN team. These positions could be suited to a graduate seeking classroom experience prior to a potential teaching career or a Teaching Assistant looking to develop their skills, experience and career.
The SEN Department is firmly committed to the development of student independence and is characterised by exceedingly high expectations of the school’s SEN students and the progress they are expected to make. Your role will:
- Work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision.
- Implement agreed intervention programmes with individuals and small groups, including planning of these sessions and assessing impact.
- Provide support in lessons for students with SEN, including strategies that feature within IEPs and EHCPs.
- Supervision of small groups to support their access to the curriculum in timetabled sessions.
Successful candidates will understand and enjoy working with young people, are well organised, flexible, adaptable and enjoys variety in work. They will be excellent communicators with the ability to motivate students and gain their respect.
