What Others say about our School
Independent Review (March 2026) -
- The Inclusion leader, other leaders and staff know all pupils who have SEND and who are also disadvantaged, extremely well and as a result, their needs are identified quickly and accurately.
- Pupils’ attainment and progress in national tests and examinations compares favourably and above national averages. Attainment in phonics is significantly above National over time.
- Leaders have worked hard to make expectations clear for everyone. Staff have established appropriate routines and can be seen explicitly teaching and modelling the behaviour they expect from pupils, so that these are well understood. Consequently, pupils are polite and respectful and show extremely positive behaviour for learning in classrooms.
- The senior leadership team has a clear and strategic approach to improvement, in which leaders accurately monitor the school’s context and prioritise actions that address the most significant barriers to learning. They work purposefully and with a deliberate intention to make a positive change to their children’s lives and futures.
SIAMS (May 2026)
- The clearly articulated Chrisian vision, grounded in ‘Let your light shine’, is well understood and consistently lived out, supporting pupils and adults to flourish.
- Highly positive relationships, rooted in dignity, care and respect, ensure that pupils feel safe, valued and supported. This supports their confidence and wellbeing, creating a strong sense of belonging and community.
- The Christian vision shapes the wider opportunities and support for pupils, especially those deemed vulnerable or disadvantaged. This enables individuals to ‘shine their light’ and thrive.
Local Authority Safeguarding Audit (Feb 2025) -
- It is apparent that the school is committed to the safeguarding of its children. It was noted that the DSL team have a good grasp on safeguarding within the school, and there are clear processes in place to ensure effective oversight. Safeguarding procedures are robust, and there were many areas of good practice throughout.
OFSTED Inspection (Nov 2022) -
- Pupils at Toddington St George ‘let their light shine’ just as their school motto encourages them to do. Pupils are happy and achieve well, including those in the early years. Pupils show high levels of involvement in their learning. Well-being is a priority.
We warmly encourage and welcome visits to the school.
