We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and skilled HLTA to join an existing strong team and help us provide the best education and experience possible for our fantastic pupils.
This role is specifically to provide cover for staff absence, alongside covering PPA cover and supporting children in classes across the school. It is likely the successful candidate will predominantly work closely with one year group, but be happy to be flexible to cover for absence across the school as needed.
Experience of teaching
Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to have the HLTA or Cover Supervisor qualification, but most importantly, experience of covering whole classes is essential.
The role is for 6 hours per day (plus 2 hrs per week for meetings/prep), 3 days a week.
Working Hours
The successful candidate will work Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday 8.25-3.25 plus 2 additional hours over the week for marking/prep/meetings. This will mean working 19.5hrs per week.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Please contact the school office to book an appointment or to arrange to speak with the Headteacher. This can be arranged by contacting Dawn Reardon, our School Business Manager on 01362 693876 or by emailing - businessmanager@derehamjunior.dneat.org
