Higher Level Teaching Assistant for Secondary SRP: Mosaic job summary

King’s Academy Binfield are looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and innovative High Level Teaching Assistant to join our growing Specialist Resource Provision: Mosaic. This is an incredibly exciting time to join the team as we continue to grow.

Applicants will be joining a faculty that:


Seeks opportunities to work collaboratively across the academies through dedicated planning and meeting time with the wider team which is built into timetabled hours for staff each wee

Is passionate about SEND specific CPD

Is motivated to look for opportunities to improve the well-being and workload of its staff

Understands the importance of our SEND provision and prioritising this through our Academy Improvement offer at all levels

Is reflective and focused on improving teaching and learning at all levels

Developing exciting and innovative alternative learning pathways for those with the highest levels of SEND

Is passionate about true inclusion.

Our all-through school opened in a superb new building in September 2018 and we have grown year on year. In addition to the secondary phase, we also have two primary phases set across two sites, King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO). From September 2023, we had students from year N to year 6 in primary and year 7 through to year 11. Our new 6th form provision, KAB6, opened in September 2023, we had our first cohort of year 13 students from September 2024. On our King’s Academy Binfield site, we are growing our Specialist Resource Provision which caters for students with a primary need of Autism Spectrum Condition and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

Applicants should be excellent practitioners and have the ability to motivate, inspire and lead students to excel. The successful candidate will be a team player and will get stuck in and involve themselves in the wider aspects of academy life.
