We are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our highly ambitious team who truly are dedicated in making a real difference to the lives of children at this wonderful school.

This role will be based in our enhanced provision classroom called The Acorn Room to support our high-needs SEND pupils.

As part of the Summit Learning Trust, you will have bespoke professional development opportunities and the chance to develop and further your career. You will also have the opportunity to work with colleagues from across schools, sharing resources and good practice.

We are seeking to appoint a qualified HLTA, who is energetic and has the ability to lead on interventions; planning and delivering individual and group work intervention sessions. The successful candidate must have:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grade C or above
  • a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • experience of planning, delivering and evaluating a range of evidence-based interventions
  • the ability to inspire, challenge and motivate students to achieve, through your own best practice
  • good interpersonal skills and a commitment to working as part of a team to improve teaching and learning
  • the capacity to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of our learners.
