About Campton Academy

Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST) comprises ten flourishing academies and five nurseries delivering first choice education, from Early Years to Advanced Level study. Campton Academy is a single form lower school with an exciting future. We are looking forward to moving to a new site and growing to become a two-form entry primary school. With this in mind, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated higher level teaching assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and welcoming school with strong values.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate good communication skills, high expectations and a passion for working with children. Flexibility and enthusiasm are equally important qualities. Experience of supporting pupils who have SEND needs would be beneficial.

A key responsibility will involve promoting children’s welfare and being vigilant to any sign of safeguarding needs.

If you have the desire to make a real difference to a child’s school experience, please get in touch. Informal visits to our school are warmly welcomed and encouraged; please contact us to arrange an appointment to come and meet with the Principal and see our school in action.

Applicants must be willing to undertake a DBS clearance and the Academy must receive two satisfactory references before the successful candidate can commence employment.
