What the school offers its staff
Charter was rated as good by Ofsted in July 2019. They stated that there are high expectations of behaviour which leads to a calm, purposeful learning environment. Charter is a team effort between staff and pupils where we all work together therefore, encouraging good staff retention and wellbeing. Over the last two rounds of pupil admissions at year 7 we are now oversubscribed with first choice pupils. Our job adverts are linked to this growth and our desire to support pupils from our community, as well as the introduction of our own sixth form that will work with the outstanding Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form in Norwich.
Commitment to safeguarding
Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.
Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.
