Pickering Community Junior School Required from September 2022 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – 7 hours a week (Wednesday and Thursday afternoons plus 2 hours planning time) We require an inspirational and committed individual to fulfil a new part time support staff position within our team. If you want to work alongside colleagues who: put children first, are caring, welcoming and supportive, value teamwork and are passionate about their school, we would like to hear from you! Our school is a caring, friendly and exciting place to work and we have high expectations of our children and of each other. We are currently a good school with many elements of our practice heading towards outstanding. We are seeking a talented practitioner to provide pastoral and educational supportevery Wednesday and Thursday afternoon to classes across Key Stage 2. As part of this role, you will plan, resource and deliver one or two curriculum subjects to whole classes. Please specify any curriculum strengths as part of your application. The position is being offered in the first instance, on a fixed term contract until July 2023. We are very proud of our school and visits are welcomed and encouraged before the closing date.
