  • HLTA (higher level teaching assistant)

• Working pattern: Part time: 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only)
• Contract type: Fixed term - One Year
• Full-time equivalent salary: £26,873 pro rata per annum
• Actual salary: £13.93 per hour

What skills and experience we're looking for

We would like to hear from you if you:

• are enthusiastic and self-motivated
• are able to work effectively within our hardworking, talented and friendly team on whole school issues
• enjoy working with children and can develop good working relationships with them
• have a particular subject strength within the primary curriculum
• understand and are sympathetic to the needs of young children
• have experience of supporting children’s learning
• have experience of or are willing to learn about the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• have a current First Aid or be prepared to undertake training
• experience of planning and delivering whole class teaching
• hold a relevant HLTA qualification or degree level qualification (desirable)
• are willing to provide regular staff cover and PPA for teachers as a HLTA
