What skills and experience we're looking for
The Epsilon Star Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Kents Hill Junior School in Benfleet, Essex.
Kents Hill Junior School is a popular and friendly school that strongly believes in providing children with exciting, creative and diverse learning experiences, which build their enthusiasm for education and help them to grow positively as Global Citizens. The school is part of The Epsilon Star Trust, founded in 2016 it is also joined by Lubbins Park Primary Academy and Nursery in Canvey Island, Essex.

This post will require you to cover PPA time across the school but may also require you to work alongside teachers at other times to support pupil's learning.
Applicants must have experience in a similar role and hold qualification NVQ Level 2 in Learning Support as a minimum. You will successfully be able to develop strong relationships with children and manage behaviour effectively when called upon. You should also be confident in using your own initiative when needed, along with the ability to contribute effectively to teachers' planning and preparation of lessons. Also, an interest or knowledge in modern foreign languages would be desirable.
