The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our supportive and friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our pupils.
The role will involve:
Covering teacher absences across Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)
Providing PPA cover (Planning, Preparation and Assessment time) for class teachers
Delivering high-quality lessons and learning activities in line with teachers' planning
Supporting pupils' learning and development across the curriculum
Managing behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Contributing to the wider life of the school
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is a trained HLTA (or equivalent qualification, eg NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants) and has a secure subject knowledge of primary education
Has experience working with children in Key Stage 2
Can deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate pupils
Has excellent classroom management skills
Is committed to our school values of Compassion, Adaptability, Creativity, Integrity and Aspiration
Works well as part of a team and can also work independently
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Is flexible, resilient and enthusiastic about education
Shares our high expectations for all pupils

Curriculum
We offer a broad and balanced curriculum designed to spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning.
