Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Literacy) job summary
Lealands High School would like to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for Literacy to support students in all aspects of teaching and learning. The successful candidate will enhance opportunities for students and will bring to the role knowledge and practical experience gained through working with young people. The ability to support the learning of individuals and small groups is essential as are excellent communication skills. A willingness to support colleagues and deliver individual and class lessons in literacy is essential.

Lealands High School is a comprehensive Foundation school located on the northern edge of Luton, in Sundon Park. We provide high quality education for students aged from 11 to 16 years old.

Our school serves a catchment area, but also takes students from across Luton and surrounding Bedfordshire villages and towns. We are a diverse school which is proud to welcome students and staff from many cultural and religious backgrounds.
