  • HLTA (higher level teaching assistant)

• Working pattern: Part time: 33.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
• Contract type: Permanent
• Full-time equivalent salary: £26,421 to £28,770
• Pay scale: Scale 5 point 12 to 17
• Additional allowances:

  London Weighting £2,175 full time equivalent

What skills and experience we're looking for

• Be flexible, be able to work on your own initiative as well as follow guidance from teachers.
• Have good behaviour management strategies.
• Have a good standard of spoken and written English.
• Be able to teach whole class following teachers’ planning.
• Know when to adapt teaching to make it simpler or harder.
• Mark books and feedback to the teachers about the outcome of lessons.
• Liaise with teachers, Middle Leaders and Senior Leaders regarding learning in the classes taught.
• Feedback to parents/carers about the behaviour when needed.
