What is the job role?

Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in KS2.  The role will involve supporting teaching and learning and being an integral part of the cover team.  A degree of flexibility is required to meet the needs of the children and school.

Applicants should have:

  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to NVQ 2 or GCSE (A-C grades) in English and Maths
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent, Teaching Assistant

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.

Who are we looking for?

At Manor Park, we seek an enthusiastic and nurturing HLTA  who will encourage and support our children to SOAR success.  We are looking for you to have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum across the KS2 age, have high standards of communication and have the ability to work as part of a large team.  

Interview date - w/b 10th February 2025

Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre-employment check with effect 1 Sept 22, please note, an online search may form part of this recruitment process.
