This is an incredibly rewarding role where no day is ever the same! By working together along with our Hub Schools (St Marks C of E Academy and Jacobstow Community Academy), we share best practice and expertise to enable all children to receive the very best educational offer. We provide a range of learning and enriching opportunities for all, removing barriers to learning so every child, even the most vulnerable, can achieve their full potential.

What the school offers its staff

Marhamchurch, near Bude, is a beautiful, rural village just off the Atlantic Highway overlooking the stunning Cornish coastline. Marhamchurch C of E Academy lies at the heart of it’s community, just a 30-minute drive from Launceston.

At Marhamchurch, we strive to enable all children to be the very best they can be through a rich and engaging curriculum, underpinned by our core Christian values – Respect, Friendship, Thankfulness, Hope, Compassion and Courage. Our vision is “Life in all its fullness” - we nurture, support, and inspire every child so they can flourish in all they do. We value strong relationships with our local and wider community, working together to enable all children to live life to the absolute fullest.

We can offer you:

  • The opportunity to make a profound different to children’s lives
  • A culture that takes work-life balance extremely seriously for all its colleagues
  • The chance to work as part of a collective in a values-led school Trust, a single organisation
  • High quality professional development and regular training to develop your knowledge and skills
  • A strong, proactive wellbeing network across the School Trust
  • The potential for future career development
  • Access to a 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme
  • Trust benefit schemes
  • Generous Local Government Pension Scheme
