What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide 1-to-1 support for a specific pupil through to the 2027/2028 academic year. You will play a vital role in the pupil’s academic and emotional development across both our school and an Alternative Provision (AP).

Key Responsibilities

  • 1:1 Support:Deliver tailored interventions and activities based on the pupil’s needs.

  • Off-Site Travel:Accompany the pupil to scheduledAlternative Provisionsessions to ensure continuity.

  • Well-being:Support self-regulation, social skills, and independence.

  • Whole School Cover: Provide cover to class and small group working as needed

Requirements

  • Experience:Proven history supporting children withASD, ADHD, or SEMH.

  • Resilience:A calm, patient, and flexible approach to challenging situations.

  • Logistics:Ability to travel for off-site provision and collaborate with external partners.
