Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated HLTA looking to make a real difference in children's lives?
Here at Mill Hill Primary School we are seeking to appoint a qualified Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive team in Northallerton. Mill Hill Primary is a vibrant school with 236 children from 3 – 11 (due to be 2 – 11 in September) and we run a one class per year group structure. We are based in the heart of Northallerton and our community links are very important to us. Staff work very well as a team and we are a warm, welcoming and inclusive school – no two days are ever the same!
Working across the school, your role will be to release staff for their PPA time. You will work closely with class teachers and play a key role in supporting pupils as they journey through our school. The PPA work will be alongside another professional and will allow the successful candidate to develop a specific area of curriculum interest. There will also be time ringfenced within the working hours for your own planning and preparation.

- Holds a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Job Details
Hours of Work: 19.5 hours per week (Mon – Wednesday 08.15 – 15.45) , Term Time only plus PD days (39 Weeks Per Year)
Position Type: Fixed Term (1 year) until September 2026.
