Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary
As a High Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students on their journey to success. You’ll work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide tailored support for individual students, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You may, on occasion, be required to plan work and assess the progress of our children.
There will be opportunities to develop within the school and make a valued contribution to our children's learning.
These are fixed term positions available from 3 November 2025 and available until 31 August 2026.
Post 1: working for 7.25 hours per week, term time only.
Post 2: working for 6.50 hours per week, term time only.

We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, bringing together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Support children in reaching their academic and personal goals.
- Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
- Work independently to provide one-on-one, in class and small group assistance to students needing additional support.
- Play an active role in maintaining a positive and inspiring classroom environment.
