What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for enthusiastic and aspiring HLTAs to support our Teachers in delivering high quality learning across HWPS. We have one vacancy covering Reception year and one to work across key stages 1 and 2.

The ideal candidates will have a passion and desire to make a real contribution to the learning and development of our pupils, delivering learning to whole classes. Support will be provided and a willingness to undertake relevant training is essential.

To become an effective HLTA, the role requires the following qualities:

  • Flexible, resilient and calm approach
  • high expectations of self and pupils
  • excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • committed to working as part of a team
  • understands and shares the School’s vision and aims for all of pupils
