What skills and experience we're looking for

We seek a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with enthusiasm, creativity and the ability to motivate and engage our pupils. The role of HLTA is integral to the smooth operation of the school and the enhanced opportunities we give to our pupils. This role is primarily to cover teacher PPA time.

The successful candidate will be expected to meet HLTA national standards or hold equivalent skills, expertise or experience. Excellent numeracy/literacy skills equivalent to NVQ level 2 in English and Maths, and IT skills sufficient to advance pupils' learning are essential for this position.

This is a permanent contract for 27.5 hours per week, term time only starting in January 2026.
