HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT (HLTA) Term time only plus one inset day in September - permanent Level E1 £16,573 (actual annual salary) Monday to Thursday 3 days 8.15am to 3.00pm / 1 day 8.15am to 3.30pm (25.5 hours per week plus 30-minute unpaid break per day) Starting September 2025 The Village Schools Federation is looking to appoint a qualified, creative and dynamic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, caring and hard-working team at Stoke Goldington CE School. The successful candidate will be supporting children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 and should be a team player, flexible and focused. You will work closely with and support the Lead Teacher to include PPA cover. Key skills: Challenge, motivate, inspire and support the children to be the best they can be Understand and demonstrate strategies for teaching and learning Undertake a range of teaching activities with confidence, working effectively with individual and groups of pupils Have high expectations of themselves and those around them Communicate well and work positively Work well with the whole school community to ensure the very best experience for our children and families We offer: A friendly staff team and a wider supportive Village Schools Federation team Enthusiastic and keen children eager to learn CPD opportunities A supportive Leadership Team Links and learning opportunities in the village, community and beyond
