Salary:
HLTA: NJC Grade E: £30,518 - £33,699 FTE
TA: NJC Grade C: £25,989 - £26,403 FTE
(The above values will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)
Working pattern: These are fixed term positions working a total of 37.25 hours per week, 24.25 hours per week grade C TA (6 hours of which will be worked in the After School Club), 13 hours per week HLTA, 39 weeks per year
Sidbury C of E Primary School are seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting teaching, learning and pupil development across the school.
About the Role
As HLTA working under an agreed system of supervision, you will:
Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities to individuals, groups and whole classes Support teachers by helping create an engaging learning environment and preparing resources Monitor, assess and record pupils’ progress, providing detailed feedback and evidence Lead small‑group interventions and support delivery of literacy, numeracy and other curriculum strategies Contribute to out‑of‑school learning activities as requiredAs TA, your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils’ welfare and personal care, including those with SEND Implementing literacy and numeracy interventions Assisting with planning cycles and preparing learning resources Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil independence You will also assist with supervision during break/lunchtimes and accompany pupils on trips when required.Why Join Us?

This role requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.
