What skills and experience we're looking for

To join us on our learning journey you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to contribute to planning, preparation and delivery of agreed work and support programmes to individuals, groups or classes
  • Experience in leading whole class learning, covering PPA and staff absence.
  • Ability to insist on high standards of behaviour and academic outcome, enabling all pupils to flourish
  • Ability to use a variety of strategies to engage and support children in their learning
  • Enthusiasm for collaborative working and an ability to contribute to planning and to provision for pupils with SEND
  • A willingness to support the school’s Christian ethos

Further details about the role

The HLTA will play a key role delivering high quality teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 & KS2. Experience of working with children with SEND would be beneficial.

Edward Betham School is a two-form entry Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School maintained by the London Borough of Ealing. We currently have 424 pupils on roll (including 35 Nursery places).
