- NCFE CACHE level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Education or equivalent.
- Outstanding Early Years Practitioner skills and an understanding of how children learn.
- A secure understanding of, and experience of working in EYFS.

- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with staff, parents and governors.

Our School
We are looking for an Early Years Educator to join our supportive and dedicated school team. Chilworth C of E Infant and Nursery School is a popular and well-resourced one-form entry school in the heart of Chilworth Village, just outside Guildford.
This vacancy is in our attached nursery which caters for children from the age of 2 to 4. This role requires you to work within a team of 5 staff under the leadership of our experienced and highly competent nursery supervisor. You will be required to actively participate in delivering the planned EYFS curriculum and monitor children’s progress over time using Tapestry and other assessment tools. You will be expected to deputise for the nursery supervisor as required.
We are privileged to be in an area of outstanding beauty and our school is set in extensive grounds. We have a strong commitment to providing all pupils with regular access to outdoor learning and forest school opportunities. This is facilitated by having outdoor classroom areas, fabulous hard and soft surfaced play areas, as well as direct access to our surrounding woodlands.
