What we are looking for:

We are seeking to appoint an HLTA to support the learning of our students. The role requires the post holder to work with the teaching, pastoral and leadership teams to plan, deliver and assess learning for individuals, groups and whole classes. Initially, the successful candidate will work closely with the teacher in charge of the Refocus Room, providing learning and pastoral support to assist students to develop good learning and behavioural habits and reintegrate into mainstream classes as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will hold a Level 4 HLTA certificate and NVQ Leve 3 in English and Maths or equivalents and will be conversant with Microsoft Office. They will demonstrate that they have personal impact, self-confidence and presence, display energy, enthusiasm, commitment and perseverance. Plenty of common sense, along with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new ideas is essential.
