Baxter College is seeking a History and RS teacher who can bring the past to life while exploring the big questions of faith and ethics. We are looking for an educator who can encourage an enthusiastic approach to exploring the diverse societies, power structures, and religious movements that define our world. We want an innovative practitioner who can deliver an engaging Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum that challenges pupils to think deeply about the human story and the belief systems that have shaped it.

In our classrooms, fostering critical thinking and the ability to evaluate historical evidence alongside diverse theological perspectives is essential. We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual who shares our values and can ensure every pupil makes exceptional progress across both disciplines. Join our thriving, inclusive school and use your passion for the Humanities to provide an equitable education.

Baxter College is continuing to grow, which brings an exciting opportunity for a driven, ambitious and motivational person to join our school and trust.

  • EXcellence: We believe that students should strive for excellence in everything they do, and we encourage them to challenge themselves and never give up.
  • Trust: We believe that trust is essential for a positive learning environment, and we trust our students to do their best and behave in a responsible manner.
  • Engagement: We believe that students learn best when they are engaged in their learning, and we create a variety of opportunities for students to be actively involved in their education.
  • Routine: We believe that routines help students feel organised and in control, and we encourage students to develop and follow routines.
