Towcester Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of the market town of Towcester. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community. We have TWO opportunities for a friendly, enthusiastic and professional HLTA to join our team. If you are already working as a HLTA and want a new challenge, or you are a TA who is ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you!

We have two contracts available as follows:

Contract 1: 30 hours per week (term time + inset days)
Contract 2: 27.5 hours per week (term time + inset days)

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic, approachable and friendly,
  • Experienced in delivering cover for Class Teachers,
  • Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn,
  • Understanding of the curriculum and pastoral needs of primary aged children,
  • Able to deliver and evaluate lessons, giving feedback when needed,
  • Confident in using a range of behaviour management skills,
  • Ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently,
  • Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
