HLTA and Deputy SENCo job summary

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and Deputy SENCo with a strong commitment to supporting inclusive education and ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential. Skilled in working collaboratively with teaching staff, external agencies, and families to support students with a wide range of special educational needs.

Proven ability to plan and deliver targeted interventions, adapt learning strategies, and contribute to the development and implementation of EHCPs and SEN support plans. Confident in leading small groups, covering lessons, and supporting whole-class teaching while maintaining a nurturing and structured learning environment.

As Deputy SENCo, brings strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of SEND processes, including monitoring progress, maintaining accurate records, and supporting compliance with statutory requirements. Passionate about promoting positive outcomes, removing barriers to learning, and championing the needs of every child.
