We are delighted to advertise for an the position of Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Bodmin College. The successful candidate will be an integral member of our Inclusion team, working with students, parents and carers and teachers to ensure that barriers to success are overcome.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students to thrive at Bodmin College by providing high-quality academic and emotional support. The HLTA will act as a keyworker for a designated group of students, lead 1:1 and small group interventions, oversee the SEND on-call system, and coordinate the school's Neurodiversity referral process. The role involves close collaboration with students, staff, and families to ensure a personalised and inclusive learning experience.
There is an additional opportunity for the right candidate to undertake the role of Assistant Operational SENDCO, fixed term until 31.08.25.

We are hopeful that this award will assist us in continuing to develop the learning environment for all our students and staff. It is a long term project which will help us to deliver our vision for excellent education in the local area.
