We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at Brize Norton Primary. This is an exciting opportunity for an HLTA to become a part of our team who will work collaboratively with teaching staff but primarily assist the 2 class teachers in the delivery of inspiring and inclusive lessons. The role includes teaching a group of children from our Upper School on a regular basis.

We are a village school comprising of one reception class of 20 children and four mixed year group classes. We have recently been graded GOOD by Ofsted. Along with our Forest School offer for all children and existing Platinum School Games award, we have recently been awarded our Platinum award for our Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) provision. We have a real passion for outdoor learning and supporting children with their physical and mental health.

We are looking for someone who:

Is passionate about forming positive relationships with children, staff and parents

Can work collaboratively with class teachers to deliver high quality lessons

Has high expectations of themselves and the children

Is a team player who gets fully involved in the life of the school

Can work effectively with other adults

Can enable our children to SHINE

Is passionate about playtimes and children’s playtime experiences.
