HLTA job summary
Our pupils are looking for a skilled and caring adult who can support them in their learning. A key part of this role is to take responsibility for whole class groups in all years (EYFS to Y6) when planned and emergency cover are required and to support the equitable delivery of PPA time for all class teachers. Prior experience is beneficial, but not essential.
The successful candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to children's learning. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to use their own initiative, have excellent behaviour management skills and a flexible approach to their work.
Areas of work will include:-
- delivering lessons to years EYFS - Year 6
- planning other suitable classroom activities
- working on your own initiative and within a team
- playing your part in ensuring that every child makes maximum progress
The salary for this role will be H5 (point 9 - 12 ). 35 hours per week (8.30am to 4pm, 39 weeks, 30 minute break).
