Higher Level Teaching - HLTA job summary
HLTA 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 4.00pm term time plus 5 teacher Training Days
We are looking to appointment a qualified HLTA to work across Reception to Year 4. We are after an enthusiastic, highly motivated, dedicated, and supportive person to join our friendly team.
Working closely with the class teachers from Early Years to Year 4, you will spend your week delivering targeted interventions and releasing the teachers for PPA. Additionally, you will cover unplanned or short notice absence. We are looking for a positive, flexible member of staff who enjoys the challenge of supporting young children as they begin their educational journey. You will understand the vital role that the HLTA plays in supporting the teachers and understand the importance of adapting practice to support the needs of individual children . You will have experience of working in a school setting. You will hold a Level 4 qualification related to teaching and learning or equivalent or are working towards an HLTA qualification . Ideally, you will have previous experience of supporting as an HLTA
