We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive team.

Your opportunity

Working under the direction of the Headteacher, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's learning, both individually and in small groups, ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality, inclusive education. This role is ideal for someone who is confident delivering planned lessons, supporting children with a range of needs, and committed to fostering a safe, engaging and positive learning environment. What we are looking for

  • Hold relevant qualifications, including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and a HLTA qualification (or working towards).
  • Have experience delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to classroom planning.
  • Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues, children, and parents.
  • Be motivated, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £25,001 - £28,657 FTE

Pro Rata Salary: £19,715.86 - £22,598.99

Hours: 33hrs a week - Mon, Weds, Thurs and Fri – 8.30am – 3.45pm and Tuesday 8.30am - 4.30pm (39 weeks incl. INSET)

Grade: Associate 3.1 Pay Scale

Closing Date: Wednesday 31st December at 11.59pm
