What skills and experience we're looking for
What we are looking for
- Good General Education including English and Maths at Grade C GCSE or equivalent
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Preferably possess a strong musical background, ideally with formal qualifications in music or music education.
- Proven experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school setting.
- Expertise in planning and delivering engaging music lessons to primary-aged children.
- Ability to support class teachers across a range of subjects when not teaching music.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to lead whole-class sessions independently.
- Enthusiasm for promoting music education as an integral part of the curriculum.
