HLTA

Payscale: Point 12 (FTE £27,711 per year, approx. £7,828 pro-rata)

12.5 hours per week

Commencing: September 2025

Two positions are currently being advertised at Holme which could be combined to create one 30-hour post for the right candidate

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:

• Have experience of working across the primary age range
• Have experience working in a TA or HLTA role
• Have experience of covering classes
• Have knowledge of Sounds Write phonics, Complete Maths and PKC
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
• Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
• Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
• Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative
• Be able to work flexibly and professionally

About Role

We are looking for an experienced HLTA to join our team, working 12.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. The purpose of this role is to support the teaching and learning across the school, covering classes as timetabled and on an ad hoc basis when required.
