What skills and experience we're looking for
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering learning activities to individuals, small groups, and classes under the direction of teaching staff
- Supporting the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning activities
- Leading structured interventions to support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Supporting pupils with SEND to access learning and make progress
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment
- Liaising effectively with teachers, support staff, and external professionals
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- HLTA status or a willingness to work towards it
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and use initiative
- A calm, professional, and flexible approach
- Experience of working with children, ideally within a SEND or specialist setting
- A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

This is a 33.5 hours per week, term-time only position and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to further develop their skills within a school committed to high standards of care, teamwork, and inclusion.
