Wood Green is an oversubscribed 11-18 Academy school in the thriving town of Witney, 10 miles west of Oxford. Purpose of the role
The HLTA (Mathematics and Numeracy) will work closely with the mathematics department and SEND team to support students who will most benefit from additional support. They will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils' achievement, progress and development.
Pay scale: Salary for full time, term-time only: Grade 8 £31,537 (£22,246.37 actual for 30 hrs/week).
Hours: Term time only (39 weeks) 8.15am-2.50pm, 18-30 hours a week.
