Hours: 35 hrs per week.

Pathways School is a small special school, currently catering for pupils from KS2 to KS4 and offering a curriculum based on a child’s right to ‘Learn, Grow and Thrive’. A fantastic opportunity for an innovative, creative, courageous and resilient HLTA to grow, nurture and support in a unique special school in an ethnically diverse inner-city area.

The ideal candidate will have successful experience of a special or mainstream education setting, as we are just as keen to encourage applications from candidates with a relevant mainstream background as those with special school experience. There will be a timetabled teaching requirement also.

Pathways is a new all-through special school for pupils with severe Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, who, for a variety of reasons find mainstream school challenging to manage. The school is part of the Eko Trust family of schools. As an Eko School there is a focus on innovating practice and inspiring teachers and support staff by collaborating with staff from other schools.
