The role would suit an individual with HLTA experience or someone looking to take the next step in their career in education. The role would provide a wealth of experience and opportunities to lead, plan, assess and teach in a small, specialised group as well as deliver learning for whole class groups. This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting children and who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in children's lives. The successful applicant will work in close partnership with the class teacher to create a caring, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes both personal and academic growth. Requirements: We are looking for an individual who:-
- Has strong relationship building skills and techniques
- Is passionate about helping children reach their potential despite challenges
- Can communicate clearly with children and adults, verbally and in writing
- Has experience of working with all ages of children in school
- Able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
- Is confident in supporting good behaviour and is confident in deploying a range of behaviour management strategies
- Has a desire to participate in school and Trust CPD opportunities
- Has a full understanding of Safeguarding
- Provide class teaching cover where required
Qualifications: Essential: Grade C /4+ level Numeracy and Literacy;
Essential: Has a basic level of computer literacy;
Desirable: relevant HLTA qualification, TA qualification or relevant experience
