What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a Home School Link Work to join our Pastoral Team. We are looking for a resilient, reliable and supportive individual who will support us to deliver a high-quality education provision to our pupils. You will need good communication skills and plenty of energy. The Home School Link Worker role will be the bridge between our pupils’ families and school, therapists and other professionals.

Your opportunity

The role will include being proactive in seeking support for our families in relation to school and the wider community. You will be required to become one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSLs) and lead Early Help Assessments (EHA), attend Team Around the Family (TAF) and Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) Annual Review Meetings.

There will be a requirement to carry out home visits to support families and children and to work on your own as and when this is necessary.

The successful candidates will complement the team at our school, demonstrate a commitment to learning and enjoy working with children of all abilities.
