About this Role
Thameside Primary school is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Home School Link Worker to join our team. We are looking for someone who is of a professional and positive nature, who will strive to support us to ensure that we can deliver our vision of providing, 'every chance, for every child, every day.'
Thameside is a happy, ambitious and nurturing school where children are at the heart of all we do.
The successful candidate/candidates (job shares would be considered) will work at Thameside Primary School to support children and families to thrive in school. A main focus of the role will be to help families to address barriers to attendance and success in school for their children, as well supporting the Senior Leadership by taking a core role in safeguarding within the school.
We are looking for someone to add their experience to our school. You will be a suitably qualified professional who is able to demonstrate and deploy well-developed professional skills, knowledge and abilities in order to add value to our school and carry out the role effectively.
You will need a positive, resilient attitude and be able to show initiative in supporting our most vulnerable families and children. The successful candidate will be approachable and knowledgeable, (particularly in relation to safeguarding procedures).
